The Assemblyof Schwartzistan

The Clerk of the Assembly returns the result of the general election held on 2 October 1814, the third such election held under the standing orders of the Assembly, in which two parties contested the sixty-three seats distributed across the seven regions of nine. The Assembly Union returns with the greater number of members, having won thirty-four seats to the twenty-nine of The Reed Party, and both parties return members from all seven regions. Mean turnout across the regions is recorded at 77.3 per cent, the highest polls being taken in Westgau and the lowest in the Capital District. Report of the election.
