The Assemblyof Schwartzistan

The Clerk of the Assembly returns the result of the general election held on 6 October 2009, the forty-second such election, in which five parties contested the sixty-three seats distributed among the seven regions of nine. Mean turnout across the regions was 72.6 per cent. The Assembly Union returned the largest number of members, seventeen, and formed seats in all seven regions, as did The Reed Party, with fifteen, and The Continuity Party, with fourteen. The Workers' Front returned thirteen members in six of the seven regions, and The Marsh Preservation League returned four, in four regions.
