The Assemblyof Schwartzistan

The Clerk of the Assembly certifies the return of members chosen at the general election held on 2 October 1839, the eighth such election, in which two parties contested the sixty-three seats distributed among the seven regions. The Assembly Union returned the most members, with thirty-three seats against thirty for the Reed Party, both parties returning members in all seven regions. Mean turnout across the regions was 76.1 per cent. Report of the election.

Return of the Clerk of the Assembly. Of the sixty-three members returned at this election, all save four vacated their seats on 7 October 1844, on the dissolution preceding the general election of that year. The seats of Teodor Weltvundek of the Osmoor, Ottmar Rabe and Gustav Rebhuhn of Westgau, and Bertil Marrow of the Osmoor were vacated earlier, on 25 February 1840, 20 October 1840, 13 August 1840 and 16 July 1844 respectively, as were the seats of Casimir Wendl of the Capital District on 6 March 1844 and Tomas Nussbaum of the Sudmark on 6 March 1843. This return stands as entered in the roll of the Assembly as at 23 September 2026.
