The Assemblyof Schwartzistan

The general election to the Assembly was held on 7 October 1854, the eleventh such election, across the seven regions of the kingdom, each returning nine members. Three parties presented candidates in all seven regions. The Assembly Union returned the largest number of members, twenty-four, followed by The Reed Party with twenty-one and The Continuity Party with eighteen. Mean turnout across the seven regions is returned at 71.3 per cent. Report of the election.

Return of the Clerk of the Assembly. Of the members returned at this election all save four vacated their seats on the dissolution of 7 October 1859; the seats of Mr Lorenz Brenn (Capital District), Mr Werner Lamm (the Ostrand), Mr Hendrik Wendl (Norrfeld) and Mr Hendrik Brenn (Westgau) were vacated earlier, on 12 September 1856, 16 January 1859, 28 March 1859 and 8 August 1859 respectively. This return stands as entered in the roll of the Assembly and is republished on the archive as it stood on 23 September 2026.
