The Assemblyof Schwartzistan

The Clerk certifies the return of members for the general election of the Assembly held on 4 October 1874, the fifteenth such election, in which three parties contested the sixty-three seats distributed across the seven regions. Mean turnout across the regions was 74.1 per cent. The Assembly Union returned the largest number of members, twenty-four, followed by the Reed Party with twenty and the Continuity Party with nineteen. All three parties returned members in every one of the seven regions. Report of the election.
