The Assemblyof Schwartzistan

This return sets out the result of the general election held on 3 October 1904, the twenty-first general election to the Assembly, at which four parties contested the sixty-three seats of the seven regions. The Assembly Union returned the largest number of members, seventeen, with the Continuity Party also returning seventeen, the Reed Party sixteen and the Workers' Front thirteen. Mean turnout across the regions was 74.3 per cent. Report of the election.

No party commanded a majority of the sixty-three seats. The Assembly Union led in three regions, the Reed Party and the Workers' Front in two apiece; the Continuity Party led in none, though it returned members in every region and finished level with the Assembly Union on seats overall. The Workers' Front alone failed to return a member in one region, the Osmoor, where its vote fell to 6.1 per cent.

Turnout ranged from 64.0 per cent in the Ostrand, the lowest recorded of the seven regions, to 80.0 per cent in the Osmoor, where the Reed Party's return of four members on 45.7 per cent of the vote was the largest single-party share recorded anywhere on the day, save for the Assembly Union's 44.8 per cent in Norrfeld and the Workers' Front's 44.0 per cent in Kesselhöh. In the Capital District and the Sudmark no party reached forty per cent, and in both the second party finished within four points of the first.
