The Assemblyof Schwartzistan

The Clerk of the Assembly returns the result of the general election held on 6 October 1919, the twenty-fourth general election to the Assembly, in which four parties contested sixty-three seats across seven regions of nine members each. The Assembly Union returns the largest number of members, with nineteen seats, ahead of the Reed Party with eighteen, the Continuity Party with fifteen, and the Workers' Front with eleven. Mean turnout across the seven regions was 77.3 per cent. Report of the election.

Every party returned at least one member in every region, a circumstance the Clerk records without further remark. The closest regional contest fell in Kesselhöh, where the Continuity Party led the Reed Party by less than eleven points and the seats divided three, two, two and two. The widest margin fell in The Sudmark, where turnout of 88.0 per cent was the highest of the seven regions and the Reed Party topped the poll by a clear twelve points over the Assembly Union.
