The Assemblyof Schwartzistan

The general election of 1924 returned sixty-three members to the Assembly from seven regions of nine seats each, four parties contesting every seat in every region. The Assembly Union returned the largest number of members, eighteen, followed by the Reed Party and the Continuity Party with sixteen apiece and the Workers' Front with thirteen. Mean turnout across the seven regions was 79.1 per cent. Report of the election.

The Capital District and Norrfeld returned the Assembly Union as the leading party; the Ostrand and the Sudmark returned the Reed Party; Kesselhöh and the Osmoor returned the Continuity Party; Westgau alone returned the Workers' Front as the leading party, on a turnout of 86.0 per cent, the second highest of the seven regions.

Of the members returned at this election, all save four had by 23 September 1926 vacated their seats on the dissolution of 3 October 1929; the remaining vacancies, at the Ostrand, at Kesselhöh, at the Sudmark and at the Sudmark again, are recorded against the members concerned above.
