The Assemblyof Schwartzistan

The general election of 1979 was held on 4 October 1979 for the return of sixty-three members to the Assembly, nine from each of seven regions. Four parties presented candidates. The Reed Party returned the largest number of members, twenty, with the Assembly Union also returning twenty; the Continuity Party returned fifteen and the Workers' Front eight. Mean turnout across the seven regions was 74.9 per cent. Report of the election.
